Hey Jacob let me give you a tip. It’s best to eat with your right hand if you can. Left hand is for cleaning your body parts. Just saying. It’s a big no no to eat with your left hand in many African, Middle Eastern and some Asian countries. 😊
I am glad you enjoyed some of the Nigerian cuisine. The look on your face tho😁 I was a little nervous, anxious and was smiling throughout the video. We love spicy foods here. Thanks! 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
We have west and east African food in San Francisco, CA. It can be spicy too spicy in some cases. Plantains are very South American as well as African staple.
I have eaten there & the food is awesome! The owner is from Nigeria and is passionate about his cooking. Very much comfort food. Everything is made from scratch and is fresh and tasty. Definitely going again. I don't think Jacob was paid. The place seemed to have a steady stream of to-go orders and I was there for early lunch which ended up having 4 tables and several phone orders. People seem to be repeat customers for a reason. The owner told me the place gets humming later in the evening.
The restaurant doesn't seem to be very busy, that's not always a good sign. Perhaps they were just having a slow day that day, but I'm not sure. And if you really want to try very good and authentic food, whether from Nigeria or elsewhere, it's good to look and see if people from that country are eating in the restaurant. If so, that's a good guarantee that the food is going to be pretty good. And yes, I also think that you should be honest and say what you really think about the food, whether it's great or not so great.
sometimes food makes me laugh too…that's funny to see someone else do it too…thanks for the review, although it's rare that i venture off the strip when i visit. One time i ventured down Rainbow, and visited a coffee shop that had beans from Kenya. Strong coffee!!
Oh Nigerian food ??? Someone is going to be spending sometime in the bathroom tonight. lol The food is good but it is spicy and runs right through you.
Interesting… im glad you got a table…. 😉 thanks for taking us to just a little taste of Nigeria.. you may not be a fan of Thai food if you dont like spicy… but… i still wannah see you try it… everythings good to you lol thanks for this Jacob!

If they put everything on a plate in a Nigerian restaurant or home, eat it together, the rice was to go with the chicken and plantain all together
Nice food 😍
